However, this tranquility was shattered with the arrival of monstrous creatures. Now, the Pebbles live in constant anxiety, pursued by the soot-lump beings that covet Pebble-meat above all else. The monsters possess a significant advantage: their terrifying x-ray vision allows them to see through the Pebbles' stone camouflage, leaving them vulnerable to attacks.
